its not a sunset took from any beach, its our vellayani lake. here also we can see nice sunset. :-)

its near kovalam. here is the place where there is a natural deep ocean with less waves. mostly used for ankoring boats.

Vellayani kayal

place near to my home. Its is a very beautiful place. If it is in any other state, it would be a nice place with house boats, and it’s a good area for tourism development. Since the government is not taking any steps for development on the tourism. The land stays untouched. A nice amusement park can be visualized through imagination here. Here its covered with fresh water. Only two kayals are fresh water lagoons. They are vembanattu kayal and vellayani kayal. A nice amusement park can be built here. These are the possibilities of here…

Mermaid at shangumugham

its a center of tourists nice place to visit. we can see take off and launching of flights simply by standing on the well maintained grass land. there is sea on the side of the mermaid made by kanai kunjiraman. there is a satram there which is more unnoticed. there is kathir mandapam. nice place where me and my friends meet on vocations

Kanakakunnu palace

Kanakakunnu palace attracts a lot of tourist from all over the world.
Situated in the centre of Trivandrum city, it is one of the most beautiful buildings. The palace and its huge ground is a platform for many cultural meets.
The Kanakakunnu Palace was constructed in the reign of the Travancore King, Hiss Highness Sree Moolam Tirunal (1885-1924). The Palace was the main venue for Royal banquets. Later Hiss Highness Sree Chithira Tirunal modified the Palace and constructed tennis courts in the palace premises. This stunning piece of architectural excellence was used by the Travancore royal family to entertain their guests in the earlier days. The interiors are decorated with large crystal chandeliers and exquisite pieces of royal furniture.
In our point of view it’s a nice place to have a rest, breath fresh air, nice place to refresh our minds. We can enjoy the royal architectures pretty well there.

Padmanabha Swami Temple

Thiruvananthapuram's most interesting temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian style of architecture.

It is a best example of South Indian architecture, with an impressive seven -story gopuram. A flagstaff encased in gold stands in the huge courtyard.It is known for its murals and carvings.

In the main courtyard, the Kulashekara mandapam, there is some intricate granite sculpture and nearly 400 pillars are supporting the temple corridors.

Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple and they have rules of clothing. Even the male Hindus, must enter the temple wearing only white dhoti (mundu).
